Here is my favorite pancake recipe! Sometimes I add some rolled oats to the mix. My kids love it! And if you are nervous about the whole wheatness (haha) of it all, make it the night before and the wheat will soften even more.
Noisy Pancakes or Blender Wheat Pancakes
1 cup milk (1/3 cup dry milk and 1 cup water)
1 cup uncooked whole wheat
2 eggs
2 T oil
2 t baking powder
2 T honey or sugar
1/2 salt
Put milk and wheat in the blender. Blend on the highest speed for 4-5 minutes or until batter is smooth. Add the rest and blend on low. Cook on hot griddle.
The batter may be thin- don't worry it will cook up just fine!
