Thank for being a Whopper of a visiting teacher- thank you

I had a hard time with the wording on this one, but I think it turned out cute!  I hot glued these to the side, but you could cut the paper smaller and hot glue it to the back.  I bought these at the $$ store.  Each $1 package had about 13-14 candy packages in it.  Have fun!

M&M’s–Marvelous and Magnificent visiting teaching thank you

This was the most expensive treat $8 for a 50 count mini’s.  I’m sure if I was thirfty-er I would have picked these up after Halloween or Valentines or Easter.  But being me I had to do it now, because I was in the mood to do it now, and who knows if the “mood” will come back!  I hot glued these on each end of the wrapper.  I wanted them to be secure, so I wouldn’t lose a note.  I have to say this wasn’t the safest way to attach these babies.  I have a few burnt fingers, maybe try a stapler?

I think this treat printable might be my favorite of the batch!  I punched these out with my 1.5 inch circle punch, which made it quick work, and hot glued them to the back of the patties.

stuPENdous visiting teacher thank you

Here is my attempt at a non-food thank you.  I just cut out the notes and hot glued them to the pens.  I bought these at Wal-Mart- 10 pen package for a $1, but you could probably get a better deal when school supplies go on sale.  Have fun!

Thanks A Mint! Visiting Teaching Thank You

I decided to make at monthly treat for all the Relief Society sisters. I plan on giving them out on the 2nd or 3rd Sunday for a visiting teaching reminder/positive reinforcement. Hopefully it will help me too! I'm going to try and post a treat once a week.

This is what I passed out last Sunday (I made sure Primary and YW's got them too). Nothing too hard to make, but I do have a tip! Make sure to glue both sides of the seam on the back of the Andes mint or it will come unfolded. I used my glue gun for these and everything stayed stuck!

SoulSavers- Visiting Teaching Interview Treat

I like to have a treat and thought for everyone when they come for visiting teaching interviews. I thought Rachel Bruner's idea of "SoulSavers" would be really cute. Last year people took the candy, but not the thought, and I worked hard on the thought!!!! So this year you can't take one without the other!!

I used Jody Prouse's template for the "SoulSavers". She made them to print off on an Avery 3 1/3" x 4" landscape label. I just ordered the labels from Amazon ($6 for 150 and not having to deal with glue sticks- priceless!).
